Is Your Email Autoresponder Working For You?
If you are trying to stay in business any length of time you will want to invest in a good email autoresponder. For those that are unfamiliar with exactly what an autoresponder is, it’s software that automatically replies to a specific email address with a pre-written response. People use autoresponders for numerous reasons.
Let’s say, you were going out of town on a vacation, and you wanted to let people know that you were away from your office and won’t be back for a few days. You would set up a pre-written autoresponder message to automatically notify anyone that emails you that you are away.
Any business that plans to stick around for any length of time should be using an email autoresponder to maintain and grow their business. It is very simple to set up, and offers low maintenance cost for you to upkeep.
Now, let me share with you a way you could profit from using an autoresponder software system. Let’s say, you sold an inexpensive e-course that had twenty modules to be delivered to your prospective clients. You could send the contents of the course by email automatically and in the frequency that you needed. This will eliminate a lot of hassle if you set up an autoresponder system.
These are just a few ways to use email autoresponder software. There are tons of options that you can choose from when deciding what will work best for you and your business.
1. You can use a free autoresponder like Send Free but I do not recommend them because you will more than likely have advertisements included in the bottom of your emails. You want to appear professional.
2. You can use a bulk emailer like SendBlaster Pro if you would like to send emails from your hosting company. The only downside to this is that some hosting companies have a limit on the amount of emails you can send daily.
3. You can use an email marketing software company like Aweber and/or Get Response. I personally use Aweber, and have been very pleased with them. I’ve been told that the delivery response with Aweber is better and its interface is a little more user friendly. Don’t hold me to that, though. If you are like me, then you will use the good ole, testy Google Search engine and read up on a few reviews if it is really a big deal for you.
These are just a few options that are available that I have outlined for you. I have personally tried the SendBlaster Pro and Aweber, and have found them both a valuable asset to my business. I hope that you have enjoyed the tips shared in this overview and have found some helpful information on selecting the right email autoresponder for your business.
